Witton Albion's Academy team were beaten by Warrington Town on Wednesday afternoon in their first NPL Football Academy - Joma Division game for a month.

Goals from Aron McGrath & Bobbie McDonnell in the first half, were enough to secure the points for the Yellows, a result which sees them replace Mickleover Sports at the top of the Joma Division table. Witton could've climbed as high as fourth with a victory due to other teams not playing but find themselves still on ten points and second-bottom.
