Morgan Williams late goal clinched a spot in the NPL Football Academy Cup Final for Mickleover Sports at The NetDec Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.

Witton had the better of the first half in a tight contest but were unable to break through as the two teams went in level at the break. With time running out and the tie seemingly heading for extra time, Morgan Williams gave the visitors the lead and Witton were unable to respond in what little time there was left.

The Academy team have acquitted themselves very well in both league and the cup this season but, it's Mickleover Sports who now progress to the final and a date with Matlock Town at Stoke City's Bet365 Stadium.
