Witton turn their attention to the Isuzu FA Challenge Trophy on Saturday afternoon when they travel to City of Liverpool FC in a Second Qualifying Round tie.
The game will be only the third meeting between the two sides and the first in a cup competition.
Witton progressed to this stage by overcoming Runcorn Linnets on penalties in the previous round, whilst City of Liverpool FC had a more comfortable passage beating 1874 Northwich 3-1.
The two previous games between the two sides saw both league games drawn last season, a 1-1 draw at the Berry Street Garage Stadium earlier in the campaign and a goalless draw in the final game of the season at the U Lock It Stadium.
City of Liverpool FC have a number of faces in their personnel familiar to Witton, goalkeeper Calvin Hare, defender Nick Ryan, midfielder Michael Simpson and experienced striker Danny Mitchley and they will be looking to get the better of their former employers.
Witton will look to leading goalscorer Joe Duckworth amongst others in the hope of progressing to the next round but, a tough encounter is to be expected.
The tie will be decided on the day with penalties if the scores are level at the end of normal time.
Kick off at Berry Street Garage Stadium is 3pm.
