During last night's 53rd minute of play at Marine on Thursday night, Albion defender Nick Ryan suffered a very nasty leg fracture that could leave him out of action and work for a very long time.

Ryan, 24, has suffered a treble break to his fibula and a single break to his tibia after going into a 50/50 with a Marine player and sadly Ryan came out worse. Nick was eventually stretchered off and replaced by Danny McKenna.

As you can imagine with players at this level, players have full-time jobs as well as their semi-professional footballing careers and sadly Nick Ryan's injury will stop him on the pitch and at his day job for a considerable amount of time.
