Witton's Academy team produced an excellent performance in their latest Joma Division fixture at Wincham Park last Wednesday afternoon, as they raced into a four-goal lead.

Jordan Coles gave Witton the lead early in the first half before Oliver McDonough added the second to give the Albion Students a two-goal cushion at the break.

Thomas McLuckie added the third before leading scorer Owen Wynne added his 16th of the season midway through the half. Ross Avies reduced the arrears late in the day with the goal of the game, beating Witton keeper Danny Hamlett from distance but it was nothing more than a consolation.

Revenge for the 5-1 beating in the reverse fixture three weeks ago and the result strengthened Witton's hold on third place in the table as the league campaign reaches it's conclusion.
