Witton's Academy team continued their recent improvement and extended their unbeaten run to three games, following an excellent 6-1 win over Belper Town in the ESPFA National Cup at Sandbach Community Football Centre on Thursday.

Striker Dan Williams took his total to six in two games with a brace added to by Jack Sandbach, Quinn Glithero, Harry Woodham & substitute Keegan Porter as Albion made it fourteen goals in the last three games with Tyrell Evans replying for the Derbyshire side.

The victory in their second Northern Group game sees Witton climb upto second in the table and a home game against Mickleover FC to follow next week so it's all to play for in a competition where the top four qualify for the knockout stages.
