Witton's Academy team are in cup action on Monday afternoon when they travel to Matlock Town (White), in the long-awaited NPL Football Academy Cup Quarter Final. The tie having to be re arranged due to both of Matlock's Academy teams being drawn at home. Witton will be looking to at least replicate last season's achievement when they reached the last four, before losing narrowly to Mickleover Sports (Red). Matlock Town (White) are in the Sports Traider Division of the Academy system and currently lead the table with a 100% record after thirteen games and an impressive 64 goals. They have progressed to this stage and will certainly prove difficult opponents for Witton but Albion's form has been very good so far and they will be looking to progress in the competition but at the same time, not taking their opponents lightly. Should the tie be drawn after normal time, a period of extra time will be played and then if scores are still level the tie will be decided on penalties. Kick off at The Proctor Cars Stadium is 2pm.
