Crewe defender Travis Johnson joins the Albion!

Witton Albion have completed the loan signing of Crewe Alexandra defender Travis Johnson until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old has come through the Academy system at Gresty Road and signed his first professional deal with the club in the summer of 2018.

Johnson made his first team debut for the Railwaymen earlier this season in the EFL Trophy against Mansfield Town.

He has gone on to make a further two first team appearances since, including his league debut in EFL League Two against Swindon Town in January.

The right-back has been a regular member of Crewe's matchday squad during 2019-20, involved 17 times.

The youngster will be available for our next fixture, in the BetVictor Northern Premier League at Lancaster City on Saturday afternoon, 3:00pm kick-off.
