Easter weekend is always a big occasion in football at all levels, when the fate of teams tends to be determined and this season is no different.

Witton go into the weekend with another crucial game ahead of them, as they welcome Radcliffe FC to the U Lock It Stadium in a Northern Premier League Premier Division fixture.

Six points from their last two games, has given Albion a chance to retain their premier league status and that's all you can ask at this stage and they'll be looking to continue that form over the next few days.

Events elsewhere will have a bearing on things but, Witton can only control what's in front of them and what will be, will be but they won't be lacking in effort and determination.

Radcliffe appear to have hauled themselves away from danger in recent weeks and will be looking to continue their recent improved form that has seen them pick up seven points from their last three games, including a goalless draw against title-chasing Matlock Town.

The meeting earlier in the season at the Neuven Stadium saw Radcliffe come out on top with a 2-0 win and from the Albion team that took to the field that day, only three players remain at the U Lock It Stadium namely: Greg Hall, Jawad Jebrin and James Foley although Raajan Gill and Joshua Paterson were named on the bench.

The lads and the management will need the support of everyone if we are to pull off what seemed impossible at one stage but in football, anything is possible and Witton's players will be doing their utmost to make this happen but we as supporters need to help them.

It might not be pretty but let's give it everything as we seek those crucial three points and you just never know.
