Witton Albion picked up a comfortable 3-1 win at home against Scarborough Athletic.
After a quiet opening, the game was lit up by a stunning opening goal on 16 minutes.
Billy Smart collected the ball and drove forward before curling a delightful shot past the Seadogs goalkeeper from 25 yards.
The lead was doubled in the second half when Will Jones struck a powerful free kick under the wall and into the bottom corner of the net.
Scarborough pulled a goal back to give themselves hope. Chris Renshaw made a terrific initial save but the ball was scrambled back into the path of James Walshaw who steered the ball home from close range.
Victory was sealed from the penalty spot, Kyle Sambor felled inside the box. Adam Anson stepped up and coolly slotted home from 12 yards.
Another three points for Carl Macauley's side lifts them one place into eighth, still just two points outside the play-off zone.
Next up, a trip to Hyde United next weekend.
