New signing - Jack Byrne

Witton Albion have signed young defender Jack Byrne on a dual-registration from National League club AFC Fylde.

Byrne has come through the Academy system at Mill Farm and featured in a number of Fylde's pre-season friendlies this summer.

The youngster has also appeared for Albion this summer, featuring as 'A Trialist' in our pre-season outings against Runcorn Linnets, Marine and Kidsgrove Athletic, indeed finding the net against the Mariners.

Byrne is comfortable at right-back as well as in the heart of the defence and we're delighted to welcome him to Wincham Park.
