It's been a busy 24 hours at the club!

Witton Albion are pleased to announce four new additions to the first team squad ahead of today’s trip to Buxton in the Northern Premier League.

First up, Witton Albion Under-21 forward Will Gatward has signed first team forms after impressing the management team in training.

The club has also added young defender Leo Roberts to the squad. The youngster arrives on dual registration from National League outfit AFC Fylde.

In addition, we have also signed 21-year-old defender Isaac Baldwin on a one-month loan from National League North side Farsley Celtic.

Baldwin has been with Farsley since the summer of 2017, joining from Spennymoor Town, and was named in the NPL Team of the Year in his first season with the Celts before helping the club to the NPL title last season, earning promotion into the National League North.

The final addition to Carl Macauley’s squad is Witton Albion youth team player Cameron Brookfield who, like Gatward, has also signed first team forms.

Cam is currently the leading goalscorer in the North West Youth Alliance Division One.

We would like to welcome all the new boys to the squad and wish them well for their time in a Witton Albion shirt.
