Witton Albion play the second game of the pre-season preparations on Saturday afternoon with a derby fixture against Northwich Victoria at Wincham Park (3:00pm kick-off).

The pre-season friendly between the two clubs takes on a little added meaning with it being played for the Dr Vijay Anthwal Memorial Trophy after our club doctor who sadly passed away during the close season.

'The Doc' served the town of Northwich in his medical capacity, so a game between the two local rivals for a trophy in his name seems only fitting.

Albion will be looking to build upon their opening pre-season outing, a 3-0 defeat against EFL League Two side Crewe Alexandra on Tuesday evening.

Admission for this fixture will be via cash at the turnstiles, with prices set to £7 adults, £5 65+/disabled, £3.50 16-21, £1 under-16. Supporters who purchased a 'double header' ticket on Tuesday must bring the ticket they were provided with for entry into this game.
