Glossop give them one almighty scare.

Full Time Score from Alder Community High School:

North West U21's Development League Premier Division:

Glossop North End 2 Witton Albion U21's Development Squad 3.

Witton's U21's secured their first away league win of the season on Sunday afternoon beating Glossop North End but they were made to work for it.

Witton got off to an excellent start when skipper Jack Johnson scored from the spot inside the first ten minutes. The lead was doubled on 33 minutes when Nohom Tasfagergish put Harrison Leake through on goal and he rounded the Glossop keeper. Within a minute, Glossop had reduced the deficit to give the home side some hope as Witton went in 2-1 in front at the interval.

Ben Ferguson added Witton's third goal just before the hour to restore the two-goal advantage but the home side scored again to give the score a respectable look.

Glossop are still pointless after ten straight league defeats but they gave Witton one almighty scare.
