Match Preview

Witton Albion Academy team play the biggest game of their young careers on Wednesday afternoon when they welcome Mickleover Sports (Red) to The NetDec Stadium in the Semi Final of the NPLFA Cup. The Students have performed very well this season in finishing fifth in the Joma Division and have overcome Mossley & Warrington Town in reaching the last four. Mickleover Sports have proved strong opponents this season and have had the upper hand on Witton in the league meetings between the two but, cup football is totally different and Witton's lads will be giving it everything as they bid to reach a prestigious final at Stoke City's Bet365 Stadium against Matlock Town. Should the game be drawn after normal time, extra time will be played and then if scores are still level after extra time the tie will be decided on penalties. Kick off at The NetDec Stadium is 12noon.
