Nick Ryan who joined Witton last summer, has made 37 appearances for The Albion notching up two goals, plus keeping 11 clean sheets in all competitions. Ryan's height and being a threat from set-pieces has made him an important figure in The Albion squad as Carl Macauley did say to the Northwich Guardian in the summer when he signed, “we’re taller now!”

Carl clearly wasn't lying as he also added when speaking to Andrew Simpson, the Northwich Guardian's Senior Sports Writer, “I felt we perhaps needed a bit more height in defence, and Nick gives us that. He's a young lad that is comfortable in possession, which is important to us."

Will Jones who also has endured a successful time at Wincham Park has tallied 61 appearances for Witton scoring a healthy 21 goals since joining from Colwyn Bay in February 2017, subjected to a work permit.

11 of Jones' goals have been in this season including a brace against Sutton Coldfield when he scored two goals in a matter of minutes before half-time at Coles Lane.
