Sadly passed away last Friday

All at Witton Albion are very sad to learn of Alan's death and send their deepest sympathies to all Alan's family and friends.

As well as making nigh on 200 appearances Alan took on the mantle of player/manager during our not so good times in the early 70's. With him, after leaving the Football League, accumulating over 250 appearances for the Vics then he truly was one of the greats of Northwich football.

We did include him in the initial ten players that were enrolled onto the Witton Greats wall and how nice it was to see him alongside half a dozen other "Greats" back in October 2010.

When known we will publish Alan's funeral arrangements.

Below is a summary of his career and there will be a suitable article in Saturday's match programme.
